There is a 6th available edition but I can’t find details on that (see the video I link below).

A bit of an alarm bell for me was something Jim Sterling mentioned in this video (Don’t be ‘that guy’ - if you don’t like him, don’t watch the video, I’m referencing the relevant bit anyway) about how the storage capacity for your gear works. One of the preorder editions comes with a pack that expands your storage to the maximum possible stash size.

Its a bit early to get to grumbly about it since there isn’t enough information (that I’ve seen any way) about how expanding your storage will work, is it just run of the mill ‘do X to expand it’? is it something you can do with currency earned in game (Division Tech/Phoenix Credits/etc)? Will said currency also have a paid for option like the cosmetic crates in Division 1 does (or did - can you still buy the intel things to get the cosmetic crates?)? Will the size the pre order bonus is expanded to be unlockable without pre ordering?

Too early to tell but I would like to know the ins and outs before I buy in to it - They’ve made a big point/show of saying there will be free content released, but they also already have a season pass for future DLC (which I don’t like, YMMV) and six different editions starting at £50 with differing content and packs at least one of which has a direct impact on gameplay (the storage crate thing)…colour me concerned but still interested.

Info on the packs listed in the preorders:

image

The Battleworn Sercret Service Pack includes:
• the Battleworn Secret Service outfit
• the Secret Service emote
• the Secret Service weapon skin

image

Pre-order now to get the Capitol Defender pack:
• Exotic SPAS-12 Shotgun
• Hazmat 2.0 Outfit

image

The First Responder pack includes:
• The First Responder outfit
• The First Responder weapon skin

image

The Elite Agent pack includes:
• An exotic Assault Rifle
• An exclusive skill effect
• Additional stash space

So aside from the Elite pack with the additional storage space, they amount to skins, clothing and weapons all of which will probably be toilet because they’ll be starting stats.

For those wondering what ‘Tommy the teddy bear’ is, its a trinket like the ones in R6 that dangle from the charging handles on guns but is a teddy that dangles from your bag. This makes me think this will be an additional cosmetic unlock ala-patches and masks from events.

Also a weird thing that might be a typo, the more expensive editions don’t come with all of the packs, only the ‘Ultimate edition’ comes with all of them…

I think I will wait til the price comes down… well out of my price range

#27

Yeah, quite pricy. Don’t like this £50/£60 is the new ‘starting price’ for so many games thing.

#28

Anyone seen / found any discounty type things for this yet?

Narp. Keeping an eye though.
