My pc is acting odd

For a long time now i’ve been getting very bad stuttering and dropped frames.

It dosn’t matter if it’s a modern game like BFV or fortnight or an older game like Dawn of war. It will stutter and freeze for a few brief seconds then go and stutter again. My spec are ok for theses games. It’s really frustrating.

all drivers are upto date, defragged and virus clean.

It honestly sounds like another Windows 10 feature update is messing with you. Had to skip 1909 entirely because it was tanking framerates on 10 series gpu’s.

If you open the start menu and type “About your PC” then select it from the options.

On the page under windows specifications, there is a Version - this will be something like 1903, 1909, 2004, 20H2, 21H1 or 21H2.

Which one do you have?

i think it’s 21H1

You’ll either want to roll that back to 20H2 or force 21H2 through, as that feature update is known to cause a substantial performance hit to lots of processes.
